6MW backpressure steam turbine generation unit was used to take place of temperature-pressure reducer in chemical industry to recover the energy waste.
Steam source gets higher temperature and pressure than the chemical process requirement. In this case, triditionally temperature-pressure reducer is required and energy wasted. Using the back pressure steam turbine the energy can be converted to electricity or drive some fan/extracter.
